Nice work mate. Did you srt it? Looks like a nasty line angle in the shot with you in it

Every cut made was either a tear cut or a coronet depending on size of the timber being cut. So 100 percent of the cuts made were fractured.

 

sorry I should have been clear, I kinda assumed all the cuts were tears, I was after how many (fracture) cuts you think you made in total?

Thanks David, oh god must be about 80 in total that is a very rough guess there was alot of poles and alot of cuts to make. Check out the tree yourself some time, I think my boss mentioned he would like to meet you! Do you no Henry?

Never actualy spoken, but probably been at same gigs and seminars I'd expect.

 

How long did the job take?

 

 

Haven't been to Hatfield for a couple of years, may take my team up there at some point. :thumbup1:

It took a day with me and another climber up there, we got a even bigger oak todo soon, it's the biggest in the forest that should be exciting, I will take some good snaps on a decent camera.
