Todays job, previously untouched Oak, myself, Paul (Mr Tee) and Danners went up, yes,yes I know, three climbers! but it was pretty big and full of growth.

Myself and Danners in the tree.

State of the Ash tree I felled and had climbed in the afternoon also done a little rigging off, yikes.

A couple of pics of a oak reduction. Working for a housing association, the spec was provided by the local tree officer. The original spec was 30% reduction, thin, deadwood and lift, but i think I went closer to 20 with minimum thin.

Did two Ash trees today, reduced one and felled this fine example, luckily we had a wince line on it and it was leaning the right way, I had barely started the back cut when it made a loud popping noise, I really thought it was going to drop off sideways across the road.

Here's a couple.

140' Fir make/safe.

The tree was shredded by the one laying at the bottom.

The other fir had flipped and hung up.

I tripped it a week earlier.

Now I left this fir at about 60' with 4 limbs on it.

It woulda reached some houses.

You said it,

Working in the city I'm blessed with the gift of grand views.

GG Bridge, The farralon islands, Angel Island, Alcatraz, and of course the City itself.
