Nice chipper btw, is that what a Jo Beau turns into when it grows up? :biggrin:

 

Also, are you chipping into a trailer, how does that work out for you, and is it an Atlas?

Chipper is Schliesing 105, not a patch on the 200/220 range (hired in) traier is Ifor Williams tipper, and yes it all works well. Chip stayed on site, timber staying on site, where it is, the groundstaff will be moving it and doing the raking to keep the costs down, so we get to go and bang down some more trees tomorrow.:thumbup:

Yes andy the ifor tippers do work well,filled mine today.Not so good when the battery is flat though!Good job by the way,thats the kind i like.:001_smile:

I have run a wire from the battery of the landrover to a socket at the back, which plugs into the ifor battery. Tip as many times as i want.:thumbup1:

Me too tommer long ago.The 12 x 6 takes ages to crank by hand.But you've to keep an eye on the terminals in the winter(salty roads).Broken wire,no charge,NOT GOOD.Jist filled mine once today andy an got it tipped round the corner.:001_smile:
