fracture pruned the lower limbs and coronet cuts on the top also bored holes but you cant see them in the pics

yip, got myself a puncture lol. well a call to a mate and an hour later i knew how to get a track back on, i was about half a mile up that wee track.

yeah they dont take long on little machines, undo the greaser pull the idler back in with a strap pop the track on and your away. i had a track let go on a 25 tonner climbing up the side of the chip pile to load an artic with wood fuel......... that took more that an hour to put back on!!

the grease nipples were 11mm, pita as i didnt have a ratchet or spanner, so out came the shifter, but as you say if you are on the level and its dry its almost enjoyable, i cant imagine how you would wrestle a track off a 25 tonner

dragged it down the pile with another 25 tonner and refitted on the ground, used a hand winch and the other digger to align the track due to the weight of it...... at least it wasnt muddy...downright miserable then
