Aye, bothways for me. Is it a real women in silhouette or computer gen? Great nawks on her.... :001_rolleyes:

Have to agree there....

I can't help imagining the discussion in the science room when that was drawn up.

.

By the way Batiarb, whats that tree doing to the other tree in your avatar? Cunning.......no wait a minute is that a boy tree.... rimm.... oh my! :001_rolleyes:

Or is that another optical illusion?

.

This was a tree I drew while I was over at the ISAAC conference in 2008. Interestingly the tree is regularly used as a backdrop for wedding photographs.

I have attached photographs below:

What if the question, rather than which way does she spin, was how open to suggestion is your mind?

10% of people cant be hypnotyzed, one might argue the other 90% are open to suggestion, some poeple accept that which they are told, and can hear and see what is "suggested" others will see through. The mind can and does see what it wants too if you allow it.

I spent a lot of time trying to work out what the trick was!

its all in the inside leg, which they actualy only change direction on from the knee down, she spins clockwise, then they say counter clockwise, which she does but then for about two turns her leg (inside) does a switch from the knee down!

Which way does the dancer spin for you..... ?

This is the explanation which is missing from the YouTube clip.....

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
