so may I ask why you do it?

 

In part Martyn I agree with you but then again it is all about sport specificity as you should know.

 

Fit for hat? training 5 days a week will not make you a tree climber. climbing trees will make you a tree climber. On the flipside climbing trees won't make you a fitness guru.

 

what are you defining your fitness on? Actual targets exceeded or looking like you should be on the cover of Mens Health?

funny, ALL the tree guys i know who work 5+days a week, and then go strength training 3+times a week are huge blocks of solid muscle . . .

but no, with all that exercise, they must be weaklings

 

 

Size and Strength are 2 complete different things.

 

Gymnasts are not that big but havbe more power and strength in there bodies than any body builder.
