PTI retake exam this Tuesday.

Going down to Bristol to do my professional tree inspection retake exam on tuesday.Took it last year and failed by a few points.been doing a few practice ones over the last few weeks.

 

Hope i get it this time or the boss will have right moan...not that hes paying for it.

Just got back today from doing the retake.I know i did well on the fungi test, got one question wrong on the written paper.Put down enough info on the test inspections and i think my recomendations were ok.One tree was a norway maple with 0ne very long upright branch to 9 meters in height.Bit of the buttress had loose bark a quarter of the way round the stem, not enough to worry about butt failure i think.My recomendation was 30% reduction and loose the end weight on the large upright branch. Now that i am home in retrospect i worry and think it over...did i make the right choice was it a fell?

 

Too late now, up to the examiner.

 

Glad its over, will get result in a few weeks i hope.

That's interesting, didn't know paul took the PTI's thought that was Simon & Guys domain.

 

 

Paul must be multi-tasking again, are there no bounds to that mans abilities
