my saws in the shop at the moment with carb issues and i had a very interesting chat with the mechanic. its the S61D carbs with the issue but stihl have produced a remedy for the problem. they need a pump piston kit fitted, part number 11291209701, this well rectify any probs and only costs 7.31+vat for the part.....some places might try and fit a new carb instead at the cost of around £60 plus labour

I just bought another MS200T because my older(little over a year old) is running poorly. What problems are you finding with yours? Mine doesn't want to stay running unless you keep gunning it. I had the carb rebuilt, fuel filters and fuel lines changed and the engine boot replaced. It still does the same thing. I used to get this problem with my old 020 but I would run it full bore on some logs for a tank or two and it worked itself out. Now that trick doesn't seem to work.
