Love my 460, it replaced an old well used and well loved 044 (after some sticky fingered git nicked it), was tempted by a 441 but went for the tried and tested, rather than any potential teething troubles with a new saw. Not saying thing bad about the husky, just never been keen on them, also got a stihl dealer on my doorstep, anything for the easy life

Cheers guys, had a do at the MS391 and a MS441, 391 is a nice well balanced saw, obviously not the same size etc but nice nonetheless. 441 was nice, if i got either saw i would run it on something in the region of an 18" bar.

I've used a 460 before and it was probably just a shade to heavy to use all day, nice saw (and bombproof) nonetheless.

Interesting to read experiences, i'd heard the Husky was a good saw.

I'll have to pay a visit to Jonesie with a full wallet!

If im right the 460 isthe same weight as the 441. I dont find either heavy to use all day but then agin im used to using them .

Personally I run a 441 as my every day saw, 20", low vibration levels, good fuel use and pleanty of power.

Would love to have a go of that chris bet it cut well,

It transformed it totally. Never thought it balanced right for snedding with tthe 20" so dropped it to 15" but it just didn't seem right, upped the sprocket a tooth and my god - it flew. Ran it at the APF with the 20" and big sprocket and it didn't like it.

mines 18inch seems ok, seems funny a lot of people want to run big bars on little saws, io like to see people doing it the other way:thumbup:

I'm just tight and could never be arsed with sharpening big bars - had wood to cut
