Hobbs vrs Grcs vrs Stein ?

When using the winch on the GRCS, can you also just use the bollard to lower sections, or do you need to swap the winch out for the smooth 'static' bollard?

we have a hobbs which is sturdy as hell, GRCS is like the hobbs but has the added internal gearing system which is handy if you need to lift things a lot!! Ive used these both and as i dont need to lift stuff a lot so i would go for the hobbs as its cheaper, has less things to go wrong with it and looks and feels like it will last a lifetime.

All three will last a life time, the GRCS winch just requires occasional maintenance.

If you don't need to do a lot of lifting just net the stein. Least number I moving parts out of all three.
