found this yesterday....a great find for me. Hadnt seen one before and it was huuuuge. It felt amazing as well like real fur. Apparently rare? but they always say that. Supposed to taste excellent so will be going back to see if there are any more.

Divine, i simply adore these fungi, one of the most photgenic in its open full form.

 

The silky rose gill, an appropriate name dont you think.

 

yours has particulary fine fur my friend, and as you say is a particulary healthy fat one!

 

Superb find my friend, very very nice, and yes it isnt that common, please dont take them!

or better still take a couple of kilos of ash/chestnut/beech woodchip, dry in an oven at 200 c to steralise then soak in the blended mix, hang mix in onion sack in a warm dark place keep moist and watch em grow! then allow the to sporalate into the atmosphere taking those you want and letting the love spread with a few!
