Whats work like in Scotland?

Well it looks like I could be moving to Broughton in Biggar by the end of November and as I've posted elsewhere I will be looking for a bit of work in the area. At the moment I run my own tree surgery business down in Dorset carrying out all aspects of tree work as well as hedge/grass & brush cutting & employing climbers & groundies as & when needed. whats the forestry like in scottland ? iv been looking into going to america for the logging out there but want to do a year or so logging and cutting stuff bigger than here in england but not jumping into the deep end working with the size timber in america, idealy i want to find a company using a yarder ect so its as close to american logging as i can get it.
