£2.49 silky anyone?

A bit misleading, but this is still cheeeap nonetheless.

I'm off work today with a bad back/neck and i thought i would do a bit of Bavarian shopping in the form of Lidl!

I stumbled across a garden equipment special which i presume is nationwide (this was the Stowmarket Lidl). The have extendable loppers, extendable branch cutters (just loppers that can cut larger diameter stuff), extendable hedge shears, tarps, garden waste bags and these hand saws complete with scabbard. I thought i would give it a go as it was £2.49, will be handy as a spare.

upon inspection it seems quite sturdy with hardened blades and a comfy handle. i haven't had a chance to test it on an actual branch but it seems up to the job.....

I'd use that for cutting up my sarnies. But we have a local lidl. Gonna go have a gander later then!

Had one for a couple of years, surprisingly good.

Teeth are hardened, but lack a final grind. could probably resharpen with a diamond hone.

dont know if i will ever use them but it was less than a fifer and i spend a fiver in the bakers most days.
