I was thinking more gallica, due to the bulbose stems.

 

Colour has thown me a bit.

no im way off mate, ostoyea has no yello or green tone in its range.

 

doesnt gallica have a white fringe like this?

Some pretty good stuff around, even got to see some Inonotus cuticularis today.

 

Though not in the same league as the Whip.

 

 

Really not sure when I can get a free weekend for a HH foray tbh.

Pretty busy between London & Suffolk for the forseeable.

Bit of a cop out I know

Such a tease: you get us all excited about what's fruiting at HH, THEN you say you can't get a weekend off to take us around.

 

TBH, a weekday would be much better for me, but I don't know how the fully employed will manage it.
