got our young apprentice Tom, (oh his full name is Thomas Cook! lol) again!

 

He did a grand job on a reduction today, he is turning out to be a real gem of a lad, were trying to get a rise from him and kick start his arb tongue but so far he is a perfect gent and like a mouse! we will have that sorted before the year is out!:lol:

 

I took him on the hunt during our lunch break and we found Panelus serotinus on Alder which was a surprise as Ive only noted it on F. sylvatica previously:001_huh:

Poor lad, he's not got a chance with you as his Mentor :001_tt2:

 

 

Gerrit has Alder listed first for serotinus. But like you, I've not noted that association.

heres our lad Tom caught again! massive perenniporia colonised ash, ganos present too, suspect 99.95% certain applanatums.

 

Ive been going through my albums tonight and came across so many of you during our various trips together. I am so looking forward to the season ahead, new seminars, atf events and forays!:thumbup1:
