There were no evidence of fruiting bodies at the time of this failure. Went to see the tree the other day (a year later) and still none. Obviously white rot bu t caused by what?

seems to have a fair few black lumps.....good spot tony. Will try and climb it this week and have a gander

so went to have a look today....not phellinus.....not nowt...they be holes!!:thumbdown:
