normally to do my invoices i just open an old one, edit it accordingly and 'save as'

 

today, it will let me view, but not edit, highlight ect, and a message saying i need to purchace microsoft office, i thought i would have done with the computer (4 months ago)????

 

i never registered the 25 didgit code it always asks for on opening office, but i never done this with my old computer either

 

im not too hot with computers, so any pointers would be great!

Sounds like your free trial is over mate...:001_huh:

As Xerses says - sounds like your free trial is over. You could try 'Open Office' It's free and does pretty much everything Ms office does/did.

thanks mark, simon and tobias, ill try open office, i guess i'll have to redo the invoice template again?

 

diddnt realise it was only a trial, i thought buying a computer came with everything you need!

cool, but by template, i in my usless computer knowledge mean i use an old document and edit it. i downloaded open office, click on the icon, click open document, then it asks 'filter selection' and a whole load of programs, which should i choose??

 

my school diddnt do IT lessons:blushing:
