Should I be a tutor/trainer?

Recommended Posts

Surely only you can answer the question, "Should i be a tutor?"

Why would anyone else know :confused1:

If you want to do it, Then do it!!! Why would you need 50 people to tell you to do it!!

You seem to enjoy being told your good hama.

If you were my tutor though you would drive me insane :001_rolleyes:

Mozza, in case you missed it, at the end it said, "so who trains the trainers?":laugh1:

but also getting a gauge of what others think helps me justify the ordasity/arrogance required to attept it!:blushing:

Just write a book. along the lines of Wainwright, only not about walking up hills, but about walking through forests and woodlands, describe what you see, and how it makes you feel in as much detail and with as much passion as possible.

Dont specialise, you will minimise your audience, everyone enjoys walking through forests but not many people know fully what they are looking at whilst walking.

Thanks mate..... NOT:sneaky2:

knowledge is one thing,,, teaching is another,,,, do you enjoy the knowledge or the passing it on??

I get a buzz when like yesterday, someone is realy interested and takes it all on board, then goes off with a new drive and eyes wide open, giving people passion and interest is a great feeling.:001_cool:

and be prepared to publish it yourself,,, the market is tiny, compared to a "normal" book...

all i'm trying to say is, don't get your hopes up, and get ready to shell out yourself for publishing..

Yes, wise words, but I was already aware that this was "underground" lol

too obscure, will lose me a fortune, but by golly i will enjoy doing it!

Do both.

Crack on and write a book about tree fungi, you have already got all the pictures.

You have probably written a books worth of words since you came on here.

People who are passionate make good teachers, because they make the students interested.
