whats a govy job? im a subbie, this is just a job i got myself, one or two bits may just need lowering off and id rather have someone there in case.

 

stephen, no fraid not its a guy i used to work for, i was driving the dumper at the time, its the only time ive worn a seatbelt in a machine, tho it did show how strong railway sleepers are.

i would love a play on one of those tracked dumpers, there were some huge ones at the APF 4 years ago, awesome bits of kit indeed.

yeah they were good machines hitachi cg40's if i remember right. took about a 4 ton load, swivel bodies etc. nearly got one stuck on the moors once, really glad i didnt would of bin a right pig to get out.

I did 3 weeks on a big track dumper moving chip to a stockpile and let me assure you the novelty wears off pretty quick!
