I work with my son who has all of his tickets up to CS39. We get on very well (He only needs a slap very occasionally).

 

Anyone else work with familiy ?

 

This is us on a Re-Pollard yesterday.

i work with my dad in the landscape side of things but tree work is my own bussiness but i just nick his van untill i get mine. but hes a good grounds men we get on well most of the time which is good.

ive worked for my step dad doing bits of building and my 3 brothers have helped me on tree jobs. i enjoy working with familyevery now and again but would never do it full time.

I'd love to do that, but my dads got really bad eyes, can only see a foot in front of him and thats when he has drops put in. We get on great though and always get on. Think its great you have a good relationship, Mclennan.

I started out working for my father, but I needed too many slaps, so we parted company. I had to set up my own company, just to say I did it on my own. We get on great, but if we work together it turns into WW3...

Me and the old chap worked alongside each other now and again over the years. We both worked at the same tree company, although on different teams. Then he went to Elveden estates working on the Xmas trees. Just before he died, he came out and helped me on one of my jobs, he loved getting a good fire going!! Wish he was around these days to bounce ideas off, and for his connections. Cant help wondering that if I'd started in the trade several years earlier, we'd have had a good thing going.
