there is a guy up the road from me who deals in second hand aircraft parts and he bought 32 of these and has 2 shells on his front lawn on display

I'd be very surprised if you were able to get a permit of the CAA to fly it in the uk, sounds like he's found a loophole to do it in the US. I do like the idea of owning a share in an ex military jet though, be more fun than a cessna!!!

The landlord of a pub round the corner bought a shell of one of these, Stuck it in the beer garden and let the kids use it as a climbing frame, He made it safe, so's that they couldnt fall off the wings and that, he got loads of business off it and then some council boffin got in touch and he got told to stop letting kids play in it

 

So it sat there for a few months and he ended up getting rid of it and now theres a climbing frame in its place, Which the coucil say is ok for kids to climb around on haha

 

 

He wants to get a Vulcan next but last time i spoke to him he said it might be abit too big
