having spoken to Workware uk once again today they have assured me that this is not common and that only 2% of haix boots become faulty !!!!! when asked i was told that they have less than 100 pairs of hax boots returned per year !!!!! . when i asked them why i have had 3 pairs of haix boots worn by three different people all fall apart within weeks of each other was it just me that is un lucky ? their response was to tell me how the boots are not being worn properyl !! and that i must have been one of the unfortunate 2% !!!!

I will not be buying any more haix boots . i had been wearing haix boots for the last 9-10 years without a problem but over the last two years i have had nothing but trouble from them .

Its strange, I have had the exact opposite experience.

All my old Hiax boots split in the right boot, the metal plate cut through the front. This would only happen after at least 9 month and I found I could glue it back with Aroldite.

But my the last pair did not split, they lasted over 12 months, by which time the grip had worn off the sole.

Can I ask how much you weigh?? could that play a part??
