Group B - Golden Era

Group B was legendary and to cancel it was a mistake. I know there was some high profile accidents which led to the demise of it but since then there have been more accidents and deaths in motorsport and the respective series were allowed to continue.

The cars were mental, combined turbo and supercharged engines and hardly any weight made for some seriously quick times. Specialists said that the cars were so quick between corners that the drivers eyes couldnt focus properly leading to tunnel vision. alot of the group b cars remaining were used for rallycross and can still be seen hammering round lydden hill. There is actually a mint condition rs200 with under 2000 miles for sale in a car dealership round here.... was advertised for 110,000 last year. If only!!

Its not that one mate, this is number 166 or 163 of 200 (or 240 odd if you count the parts cars etc built). pretty much identical to that one on piston heads tho.

they are only gonna go up in value as they get rarer down to them getting smashed up by the rallycross boys.
