Im 20 and Ive got my Daihatsu Fourtrak insured with Aviva, who were by far the cheapest out off all the companies i looked at. I hear NFU is also supposed to be quite reasonable.

HA! insurance renewal premiums....be on your guard and don't take the price on the renewal notice as gospel. My daughter (19) received her renewal notice from Diamond with a quoted annual premium of £1200 (she has an ongoing accident claim on her policy, so higher premium and no NCB this year ). I checked on comparethemarket.com and the lowest price was with Diamond, but amazingly at £850 :confused1: I phoned them up to ask why i could get it cheaper online and by the end of the phone call, I got the renewal down to £650!! Half the original quoted price!

Shop around would be my advice or phone your insurers up and haggle with them.

Good luck :001_smile:

Slightly off topic but perhaps useful nonetheless... we had our home insurance renewal quote come in at £599. Went online as a new customer and the same cover was quoted at £283. Rang them up and said 'what's to stop us cancelling the policy and starting up a new one as new customers?' Answer 'Nothing'. So we paid £283. Don't take insurance companies at face value - argue!
