Are you saying the old ones are better than the four mix?

Interesting, time will tell. We still use the old one now and then and its definatly reliable, I like the power and torque you get with the four mix one though.

I'm hedge trimming all this week on my annual Yew trim job, and all machines will be working at once. I use the four mix for the tops, its awesome.

For reliability i do think the older ones were better, yes.i've had 2 hl95's now, first one had carb trouble, sporadic and very annoying, latest one must be similar problem, just dies randomly about twice a week, dealer can't fix it,my village dealer sells echo,i'm tempted to give one a try

Id highly recommend the echo pole saw with hedge cutter attachment, had mine 2 years with no probs.

I bought the combo unit. i used the hedge cutter yesterday and must say how much i liked it, then i added in the extension pole and could get even higher without using ladders. Today i used the strimer, it was excellent, better than i thought it would be. i was a bit wary of the combo but it is a great bit of kit. the engine has plenty of power too.
