Hope none of your customers are on here, to hear you calling them fools, they pay your mortgage :confused1:
I think maybe peter was suggesting some customers are 'foolish' to demand so-called premium hardwoods rather than calling them fools :001_smile:

always found lime pretty good, burns nice and hot with a good flame, and eventhough it has a high moisture content when felled, it always dries out quite fast.

i never turn it away for these reasons and an be a godsend towards the end of the season when fast drying woods are needed

oh, even when fresh it can give off a good heat, but i wont recommend burning any fresh woods indoors

I wouldnt class it as a premium firewood. But I have found that if you cut and split it while its green, it is quick to dry out and easy to light. Burns fairly quickly.

Useful to mix in with other species of firewood.

Dont think I have ever had BAD firewood. Its just how you manage it.
