Holiday Cottage recommendation in Scotland

Im looking to rent an old stone cottage for a week in September, in caingorms, skye, Jura, Glencoe etc. More remote the better, must have log burner / log fire and be old and traditional inside (ones I have seen seem to have modern interior) only contradicting extra I would like would be a hot tub. Anyone know of one.

This ones probably to modern for you, Saddleback Cottage, Nethybridge near Aviemore Blog Archive Photos of Saddleback Cottage.

 

I'd definitely recommend Nethybridge its a cracking little village. Well it is at new year anyway. Small and cosy yet close enough to aviemore, grantown and inverness if your that way inclined.

Only ever hired this one (5 times) but it ticks all my boxes every single time.

 

They have three or four others to choose from aswell.

 

This one (Alltnaguibhsaich Lodge) is next to Lock Muick on the Balmoral estate.
