Hi Guys

Had some gear nicked from site today in Finchampstead. It was 25 yds from where we were working in the back garden they stole it right in front of us. The list is as follows

1 x Husky 281xp with 28inch bar 00459

2 x Stihl 200ts 11299673301bs and 148178522

1 x Husky 576xp 24inch bar 091100113

1 x Stihl br420 back pack blower d-71336 42059673300as

My climbing kit in a camo bag petzl sequia harness and klien spikes welded to size with velco buckingham pads. And loads of rope slings karbeeners etc.

the two others working with me lost

1 weaver harness and silky. I stein bag with gear but not quite sure what he brought that day will know more tomorrow.

Keep an eye out if you could for my stuff and yours. We could see it clearly where(it was in the back of a canopy on a l200)we were working they must have been hiding and just when the had a oppertunity they took it.

Sorry to hear your news:thumbdown:.Can't trust anyone these days. Problem is all the kit will get sold on for next to nothing although keep an eye out on 'the bay' for ropes and stuff. Bit more of a specialist thing aren't they. Hope you have some luck. Don't suppose the police were really interested were they?

I have my insurance with arbinsure(bartletts) and it taking days before i know if they are likely to pay out. This is taking the mick and I may think again about using them in the future surely it should not be this slow.

normaly kit unattened on site is not insured ??

I would not say that it was unattended. We were in a fenced in garden with electric gates the gear was in a l200 25yds away. 3 guys on site and owners about most of the time. They did it right in front of us and we did not see. I do everything in my power to make my kit secure and visable
