Depends MASSIVELY on who you speak to Ed, I rang an office local (ish) to me when i was insuring the LDV and they were REALLY bad, didnt ring back, didnt seem botherd on the phone, were useless to say the least,

I rang the national number and spoke to someone in Scotland and they were great, Really helpful and were the best for price by a fair bit, Madness really

Ditto;

NFU just quadrupled my renewal for pub lib etc to over £3000. :thumbdown:

Our first three years were with NFU and they were pretty good. Then we discovered we weren't really covered for the type and volume of work we carried out so employed a broker. Now we are belt and braces and he fights our corner for the best price.

1 L200 van (fully com)

1 entec ch25ph chipper

1 rayco rg25 grinder.

all covered for a year with NFU £430.00. was £490 last year. Can't complain at that. Also have public liability with them. Great service. was an initial issue about felling trees over 10m high. But I got it in writing that I was covered felling any size tree. Great service. Had a small claim on the van which was settled with no trouble.
