That's gonna be very nice when it's done Pete.

Don't gas it.........They just don't sound the same :proud:

Cheers Mac, i think the red will get noticed! The wifes choice:scared:

As far as the gas goes, already got the LPG kit:drunk: Guess it might be best just to use it on longer runs:proud:

Little bit of a thread hi jack but it's still V8 Landy related - Picked up an old N/a diesel 110 hicap to use instead of the 130 and was fancying going down the 3.9 EFI, possibly auto box and lpg route with it but have heard a few people say its a bit of a pig to do repositioning engine mounts.

Have any of you guys ever done a swap like and are able to shed some light?

Hi Chris, as kev says, any of the landy forums are good to ask.

Converting is not such a big issue as far as mountings go. The gearbox mounts bolt through the chassis and everything is lined up from there-just the engine ones are different.

If you change the box, you may need a shorter front prop, and the v8 will need engine mounts welding in. You can get adapters for this to fit your n/a mounts but ive heard they tend to bend with torque from the big lump!

Not sure whats involved in fitting the EFi-never had anything to do with it- but plenty get done so cant be too much to do.

Oh, just thought, if you want them i have pics of where the v8 mounts go!
