Depending on when you trained, I think the CS31 assessment has winches in it now as well.

 

 

It depends how badly the rookie gets the tree hung up! I needed it once on my training.

 

Ed: sounds like a plan. Could use my dads navara as I'm insured to drive that and I'm used to it with a trailer aswell

:confused1: Dont think so pal I done mine ealier in the year and they ask you 3 saftey things to remeber about the winch If a winch is needed the assecor gets it out but they dont assces you for what you do or help them to do.

 

32 (medium trees) covers alot of winching.

 

Well, pal, when I took cs31 and was taught absolutely nothing about winches last year because they weren't in the course, I got told that this year winches would be added to the assessment if I booked after December 2009. :001_rolleyes:

As I previously stated in my origninal post I have done 2 assesments in 31 this year and they only ask you a question about winching its there if you need it but you dont get assesed on it.

Well i know some one that has just passed the b+e test so i know what is required in the actuall assesment.

Just need to find me a vehicle and trailer to get some practice in!

 

at the moment the only car with a towbar in the house is a citroen C3 :blushing:

however i may be able to get a disco 2 and cattle trailer if i wear a short skirt and fishnets :confused1::blushing:
