Yes that pisses me off too, we have a few of them round here that have a job and then take work from us full time Tree Surgeons in their spare time, being able to charge what they like because it is spending money to them.

What will sort the men out from the boys, is when these so called Tree Surgeons have a "close call" going beyond their abilities.

Going into Tree Work requires dedication, training and experience. Otherwise eventually you are going to get bitten. There will be many on here who can tell a tale of near death experiences and they will be fully trained and fully experienced.

Rant over

if this was a dig at me i am very sorry and will try not to infringe upon your empire:scared::wave:

The point is Doing tree surgery part time all the time while keeping a full time job is just robbing others of their full time wages.

So you're saying that if you have a full time job then you can't be a legal, licensed part time arborist?

I'd like to see whther or not they are paying tax on their part time work.

At 20+ % income tax it would put them at a severe advantage to those who do pay tax.

YES, its not fair

That's insane in the membrane. A lotta treeguys started out working part time until they could go full time, or they simply work two jobs. Crikey, I've worked two jobs before - trees by day/mixologist by night.

You can't have it all to yourself, that's what competition is all about... that's what makes the world go round.

No its not.

The world spins round me and the sun shines outta my ass.

I do homers as well, keeping honest porn stars out of their weekly wage.

I'm being sarcastic, apart from the porn bit.

Oh, and whats a mixologist, Someone who studies the science of mixing? Is someone who practices the science of mixing a mixiculturist?
