What should i expect to pay for an Artic load of split logs around Glasgow?

Hi all,

 

I've lived up in Scotland a year now & have managed to sort out a yard in East Kilbride & am slowly getting my firewood supply ready for the winter.

 

So far there's around 5 - 10 cubic metres of waste wood from my tree surgery but most of it isn't seasoned enough. i've got an empty space allocated between 2 containers which should house up to 30 cubic metres of logs on palletts.

 

Can anyone help me with possible suppliers of hard or softwood?

We are currently organising a felling licence for removing a reasonable quantity of birch and willow from choked forestry rides.

 

We can also provide lodgepole logs and spruce windblow

 

pretty much all of it suitable for running through a processor - if of interest pm me and I will provide some photos of timber from the site. and give you an address to check haulage cost from

 

My preferred option would be to sell as cordwood in 2.3m lengths but could discuss your requirements and see what we can do to meet in the middle if necessary
