i had a pair and didnt like em coz the ankle was shorter than the haix protectors. The leather seemed very tough. They have a bit ont bottom that has spikes on, a bit like cork boots in the us, great for working in the woods, it can be removed if you dont like it.

I've had a pair for over a year now Mozza, very good boots mate, the plate with spikes is good, you have to take it off if you wear irons though. When I first put em on they were like slippers mate very comfy and good support.

Thanks a bunch mozza! I'm looking at these also. I have been depending on the Cirencester show to help me decide. Let me know if you find another good price for em. I think I found the best price on eBay HAIX PROTECTOR EXTREME CHAINSAW ARBORIST BOOTS 8 - eBay (item 110496297761 end time Apr-19-10 02:08:04 PDT)

it's from GM Tools (Garden Machinery Tools) in Northamptonshire.

Pfannner, although they are made by an Italian company called Krispy, who also make doughnuts, and you can buy them without the pFanner label from Nod.
