i was told he was back on monday, i hope his guys are working and not forgetting its a bank holiday as i am dropping my truck off with them lol

We got a brand new Valtra A series with full forest guarding and fore end loader for 35k from George Browns. The trailer came from Wilsons for about 6k several years ago.

 

Thats the timber trailer on a the other valtra.

 

Thats the new A with the front end loader. The winch is ancient Wilsons had a good reconditioned double drum for 2k plus the vat a little while ago.

Hmmm..... sure they said Tuesday he's back but could easily be wrong..

There is a valmet down here for about 8.5k would need guarding up but it looks ok, bet it has a lot of hours.

Is there any way a trailer could go on it whilst keeping the butt plate??

 

Looks in very good order... what size are the winches?

on ours there is a little plate that comes out to put a hitch in it. Maybe Stephens has the same thing?

i think they are both 8 ton matt, i can find out for sure. i have just text the owner to ask about the trailer:001_smile:

The MB's have a great name for themselfs..

 

I did a job a while back with a guy who had a very very similar set up, awesome winch power!

 

Not sure what the visibility is like out of the back of the cab for loading trailer with crane etc, might be a bit of a drawback but I dare say the guarding/box etc on the back of the cab could be re-engineered a bit to get better visibility.
