Make sure you get a good price for it. Since firewood has increased in value millers have had to pay out more for timber. I just sold a load of yew, holly and horse chestnut and was quite suprised what it all went for.

Just local contacts to keep haulage costs down

 

It might be worth you finding out who is the main supplier of wood turning blanks in your area then incontact them. We chuck all the yew branches, knarly unions from things like sycamores, weird burrs, and unusual little bits in a corner of the yard and run it all up before xmas and always get a load of cash for the xmas do and then some to share out.
