REF posch split/master horizontal 30ton log splitter im thinking of buying one not cheap at £7500 plus vat jon somerset:thumbup:

 

They've no half jumped in price!i bought one nearly 3 years ago at 5k!Sold it 6 months later because i never used it.I found there was alot of waste when splitting hardwood,good on big softwood though.

I have used a posch vertical one, and the riko equivalent, and couldnt find that much difference, and TBH given the unbelievable rudeness of the guy on the posch stand at ConFors last year, I would NEVER give them my money......That said, i am NO expert in this field, and have just invested in a new axe...!!!!

had one 4 yrs now, cost 5k then

 

 

would not be witout it now, fantastic machine. i crane some MASSIVE pieces on it

 

never broke down, never replaced anything, nothin failed, never broke anything

 

abused it more than the wife:lol: seriously its built like a rock and has split stuff almost 4ft in diameter but with a crane lifting and holding and 2 operators
