Dear tree business owners,

Can as many of you tell me which insurance company you are using with regards to employers liability and public liability. I"ve been with NFU for 10 years and this year it has many restrictions on my policy coupled with not returning my calls. Only 6 days left and i have no insurance. So if any of you have a poisitive experience with your insurance company, competitive rates with comprehensive cover then please post.

Thank you all for your time

Chris

Same thing happened to me with NFU mate.

Cover limited to 10m, never got back to me when I asked for an unrestricted height.

Arbinsure gave me a quote really quickly, so I went with them.

As Ali says though, each case may vary.

Good luck with it.

Thank you for your replys. It became apparant after speaking to NFU that there is now a 6 metre height restriction and get this employers liability cover DOESNT cover you if your employee gets hit by falling tree debris. To be fair to NFU they said this type of insurance (tree surgery), they are not looking to take on due to the amount of claims they have had, so for me that"s the end of that. I"ll call the companies you have all suggested, if anyone else can reccomend any others i would be grateful for your input.
