video editing software

ive seen videos in the past where they show a video within a video.....does anyone know what software does this? i havent checked yet but im guessing its beyond the capabilities of windows movie maker.

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker Live yet Steve? After ordering the captions you just press 'auto movie' and in blends everything together in about 3 seconds. Where before you had to fade in and out of every clip manually and it would freeze 3/4 the way through....

 

And also has one button to upload straight to youtube.

i use Imovie HD on the Mac. Very easy to use. I lot of people recommend going to the apple site and downloading the version I use as opposed to the newer versions that are provided now.

 

Not really fiddled enough with it to know if you can do window in window though.
