practicing knots

Tree Climbers Knotbook by Dirk Lingens?

 

Currently im reading the tree climbers companion and a cheap 16 knot rock climbing book, but im currently interested in getting some better rope to practice my knots on,

 

yep thats the one. great book for learning from

Sorry Beaver I'll send you those ropes i forgot about on Monday you should get Tuesday, or i can give them to your dad when he's in to exchange your helmet.

 

Its alright, my dads not popping in, im going to go to capel, so i can exchange my helmet then, if thats alright. Which is a better idea anyway, as i can try the husky on properly.

This site might be worth a look, even if you can't practice them. I'm with Big A on getting the basics down pat, then you can learn the tricks and tweaks later. If you need any smaller diameter cord let me know and I'll see what I've got that you can have (you seem to be sorted for main line bits).
