Tree Climbers Knotbook by Dirk Lingens?

 

Currently im reading the tree climbers companion and a cheap 16 knot rock climbing book, but im currently interested in getting some better rope to practice my knots on,

Its alright, my dads not popping in, im going to go to capel, so i can exchange my helmet then, if thats alright. Which is a better idea anyway, as i can try the husky on properly.

Beaver, if you want I can do a bit of knot-tying with ya at Capel, so get learnin'!! Just dont try and learn too many at the same time, master a couple at a time and you'll be fine.

If already got Bowline, figure 8, and double fisherman sorted, cant really do much else as the rope i got with this rock climber knot book is really short,

This site might be worth a look, even if you can't practice them. I'm with Big A on getting the basics down pat, then you can learn the tricks and tweaks later. If you need any smaller diameter cord let me know and I'll see what I've got that you can have (you seem to be sorted for main line bits).
