Thats very interesting Ian. I would have thought it would have been a struggle to reclaim that.

Maybe its cos you are really old:001_tt2:

Not sure what would happen if i got investigated tho!!

Ouch:thumbup:mind you still managed to bag a wife 10yrs younger than me:thumbup:

Even at 10 years younger than you, she's still a bit old for me:001_tt2:

If you think you are getting any sympathy, cos you are feeling the strain of having a nice younger Mrs, think again:lol::lol:

Not a derail, we are talking about how you want HMRC to pay for you to stay fit and get enough supplements inside you, so you can keep up with the Mrs.

If thats not a justifiable expense, i dont know what is:thumbup:

Ok mate i can go with that besides is there a thread on here that doesn't go 'off topic', not that we are of course:biggrin:

I take it judging by your expertise that your background is/was in marketing/acountancy/business, love the teacher'esque authority in the marketing thread BTW:001_smile:

Good question Dean.

One that a lot of us self employed guys would like the answer to. There sure seems to be a lot of myths and half truths that float around when this subject is brought up in conversation.

One I was recently told is you can claim for your dogs food and health care if it is used to guard your kit/machinery?!

Ian,

Not quoting you this time as getting a little bored of it going wrong.

Yes mate, I have marketing qualifications, business qualifications, have a full time Management accoutant, full time marketing assistant, and am a marketing consultant and general entrepreneur.

Owned a landscaping and tree work business for several years, cos a mate told me it was all about hard work, and I couldn't do it. I told him I could and it was all in the business and marketing principles. Ran it for a few years to prove him wrong, including learning to climb. Hard manual labour isn't really my thing so now i'm concentrating on other things. Or I would be if I wasn't on here chatting to you:lol:

There's a better explnation of why I started tree work and landscaping in another thread somewhere.

Now thats what I call a derail.:thumbup1:

Nice plug(kidding) but can see a specialised/niche consultancy role on here(I'm sure you're already onto it), hence marketing thread i guess.

Bravo for quality derail:thumbup:
