I don't know whether treework is addictive, but I sure love the climbing about in trees part. Come the weekend when I'm not working I sometimes can't wait to get back up there... and when I'm away on holidays wifey gets annoyed at me looking at foreign trees and wondering how the best way to ascend it would be! Yes... yes, I am a sad c*nt. :o

I started climbing 25 years ago then left the industry because I could not get a mortgage when self employed. After years of being asked to do jobs for old clients I am eventually going back into it. Whilst I know I’m too old, too slow and my body is half knackered it’s the best thing I have ever done.

I will eventually be leaving behind a secure £30K+/year job and a pension, but being happy with your life and what you do is worth more than the material things in life.

Yes it is addictive.
