They are indeed a Steyr. Have a look here different varients used by some army. pinzgauersales.com

 

British Army also use them, but they are rubbish compared to other vehicles in the fleet. There was always 20 or 30 of these laid up waiting for parts to be repaired by the REME when i was away last year.

That is quite cool, Dean could have that working by tea time.

 

she wasnt around to ask if it was for sale but il see her 2moro,needs a good clean up,dunno wot the engine is like, the old man reckons its 6x6 and that ya mite struggle for parts

Hope you get it mate. would be a cool project. All depends on how much it would cost ya to get it road worthy. :thumbup1:

the old man reckons a lot to fix up, ive lost interest already but it does look coool, but anyone else is interested il pass ya number on

 

My mrs would literally Kill me if she came home and that was on the driveway.

Would love to have a go at fixing it up though.
