What do you think of this retaining wall?

This is not my work. It was near another customer's house: stopped to take a photo. I think its pretty decent looking. The first one I've seen with mixed block colors.

They look of similar locking design to the ones in your garden mate. Not sure they are supposed to be used that high as a retaining wall. Dont think it looks great either.

They should have got you to do it, cos yours look much better:thumbup1:

Looks good to me if slightly garish. Is it laid dry with some sort of interlock?

Not sure. Just stopped to take a photo.

One use for this kind of wall pattern that might be a good fit, would be behind or surrounding a child's play area in a sloped back yard.

Because children's play stuff typically has a lot of color.

Looks like the Anchor Walling system or something similar. If its engineer designed with the back ties etc they can go up to 5-6m high.

Not overly fond of the colour mix although it does seem to fit in with the vernacular (now there a word I dont get to use very often!)

I agree with what you are saying but they look to me like the blocks with a small lip at the back so they can be stacked slightly offset to make a quick simple wall. I dont think these are recommended as retainers above a certain height.

Get you, with your posh words:001_tt2:

This is no place for proper English mate:lol:
