Brushcutter blades news!

I have used the tri mulching blade and found it to be pants. Much prefer the double my self

I was wondering about that actually - have the double blade myself and its great, but notices the tri-muchler in the shop and wondered if I would have been better off with it.

 

Here's an idea - I want to try to convert my brushcutter into a leaf blower - wouldn't simply attaching a fan do the trick? If they made such a thing it would be ever so handy. The Stihl kombi-system blower attachment is €400!!! for essentially a tube with a fan inside.

I would sooner buy a second hand blower, that will be invaluable on most jobs, then feck arse about with some drainage pipe and a whisk taped in the end! even one of the cheaper Chinese ones would do the job untill more funds permit an up grade. Not sure how people operated BB (Before Blower) although I am sure a broom would have been good enough
