i wish i could pole climb like on this programme but have just started it and need to get loads of practice and stop thinking about falling and thinking about the two pieces of metal and a rope holding you in the tree

all comes with practice mate. why dont you wait till you have got to a branch stick your normal line round the branch get loads slack in that and sit in your harness. that way you will be more happy knowing that if you slip u wont fall. the normal line round the branch with slack in it to give you courage to try it just a idea.
