Freedom of thought and speech are not looked down upon here??? apart from swearing (no need Mark:001_tt2:)

Its just your idea has no legs. Its not gonna run anywhere.

Im sorry but its not. It seems to me as if you would be down grading the product somehow.

The idea was to make your knot in someway not interfere with your hitch, easy, put a sling and biner inbetween harness and knot. Job done. How can the "look" of something put you off?? They are rated for a reason and get used all day everyday for many things.

go and work for mcdonalds? because i have an idea i see as an improvement to a product? i find this comment totally ridiculous

if i see a moldy sandwich i aint gonna eat it. But i value your input frank, it's constructive and is one of the reasons i started this thread, I however dont think its got any legs. sorry :001_smile:

Sorry to take the mick slightly but I have just had an idea for an improvement on another product.

Maybe they could make webbing slings much thicker and bulkier then they wouldnt put people off using them because they look too skinny next to ropes.:thumbup1:

Please dont do a cry at me.:001_tt2::001_tt2::lol:

The new pinto pulley has a design which allows direct connection to textiles. If the top connection point on the HC had the same design profile then the termination could be tied directly to the HC keeping the termination below the top of the climbing hitch removing the need for a splice

I'm sure you could keep the same krabs steve.

If they did i'd be happy to use them in my climbing system, although it may then catch the top of my hitch

no tears here, just trouble getting my point across :001_rolleyes::001_tongue:

on monday when i have my kit i'll take a picture of how i'd like to be able to use my hc.

will i know when (if) my useful input reaches 22%

To be honest the 22% was maybe a slight exageration. Haha

so the hitch climber is designed to work best with oval krabs....by your reasoning, should they also redesign the product for those users who dont wish to replace their hms krabs?

no, hms krabs don't fit the hc (cheers frank) my rope without a splice will still work with the hc and is apparently dangarous, this i believe needs to be addressed.

However I will find out monday but i think if my idea would work and was implemented hms krabs would then fit the hc. :001_tt2:
