I agree with both the last posts, but would like to add that as the written RA is not required on such jobs, but a verbal one is, then i think the case would be arguable in favour of the contractor, esp if on the job sheet a check box was there to be ticked after everyone has understood the verbally given one for example.

but whats the point in doing JUST a verbal and a tick box when a normal SSRA takes no more time and covers ones rear in any event? if your going to go to the trouble of telling the RA why not write it!:confused1:

If the job sheet was part of the risk assessment it would be just as easy for everyone to undertake and sign?

evening mr rotherham,

 

im presuming you mean similiar to that given on aa risk assessment course, works well for me, although it would have to be adjusted to give better job/task spec space i think, for companies sending out gangs

 

Agreed, it works if its only a few trees per location but requires a seperate spec if detailed works on a numer of trees is required - if its completed on a computer you can fill in as many trees as you wish but it doesnt fit neatly on one sheet though :001_tongue:
