caught the lower leg on a pair these with c protection a few years back. The lining just burst open with nothing clogging in the chain. Luckily the affected area way covered by my trusty haix protectors. Not impressed with the trousers at all..

Think its all down to chain speed ,had some sips do absolutly nothing when a 460 hit them... what people forget is there are no saw trousers that 100% going to actually do anything to save you being cut.

Size also matters. If you catch the tip of the chain on a bar bigger than 18", by the time it gets to the saw and clog it, it is already cutting into your leg. Ye haa, feel the pain......
