i was thinking 3 day 2 bloke to bring it down and clean it all up take chips and saw dust away stack wood and u ent do much day light in december now got to think about price as i have already learnt about conifer they ent what they seem from the ground and grimd the stump out grindin area would be about 8 ft

yes 16 meters wide and that glass house u see in the pic is right down one side off the trunk and it leans over that house i see if i can get more pic tomorrow as im going back to talk to the bloke (oh and the real nasty thing about the tree is the amount off pigeon s*****t there is in it)

looks like a alright conifer tbh with amount of daylight coming through it worse ones are the really thick nasty ones

I would put a day on that for 2 guys, cut and chuck most if not all, looks fairly steady away to be honest, board greenhouses and away ya go. £350 ish dependant on your day rate, grinding 100 quid or so.

well i dont think i could do it in a day i think i my ask josharb87 if he wants to sub for me this is my first big job iv bin given and want to get it rite if i can. i will take some more pic tomorrow post them on here i would love to do the job my self but think it will take me 3 days to do the job and clear up. as most off u are saying a day i might try to sub josh as i done really want to rip the customer off

You could still do it yourself, it just means that your day rate would need to be lower, if your going to be slower.

 

I'd look closely at the figures. It will be good experience if you can do it yourself, and it's the only way that you will get quicker.

 

Difficult to tell looking at the pictures. I'd guess at 5-600quid for the job plus the stump grinding but it's so hard to tell from pics. May be worth subbing the grinding out?? Accordingly if it takes you 3 days that's £200/day in which isn't enough IMO but it may well take you 2days when you crack on with it, which would be £300ish a day, again not really enough but how much is the experience worth? I guess it depends on where your aiming to be in a month/a year/10years time etc.
